Nadeem brings decades of professional experience to MZAN Capital. A practicing attorney since 1996 with a law degree from the University of Colorado Boulder, he has built his career on tenacity and an unwavering commitment to doing right by people. That same drive carries over into property management, where he oversees operations, tenant relations, and long-term strategy. Nadeem believes that well-maintained properties and respectful landlord-tenant relationships are the foundation of any successful real estate portfolio.
Mehreen Makada
Co-Owner
Mehreen is the organizational backbone of MZAN Capital. With over 25 years of experience in the medical field as a diagnostic sonographer, she brings meticulous attention to detail and a genuine care for the people she works with. Mehreen manages the financial side of the business and plays a key role in property acquisitions and tenant screening. Her background in healthcare taught her that trust is earned through consistency, and she applies that same principle to every property MZAN Capital manages.
Zain Makada
Director of Digital Operations
Zain leads the technology and digital infrastructure behind MZAN Capital. From the tenant portal to internal management systems, he designs and builds the tools that keep operations running efficiently. With a sharp eye for automation and user experience, Zain ensures that both tenants and the management team have seamless access to everything they need. His vision is to make MZAN Capital one of the most tech-forward property management companies in the Bay Area.
Aydin Makada
Head of Digital Strategy
Aydin drives MZAN Capital's digital presence and growth strategy. He oversees online marketing, brand positioning, and the company's web footprint, making sure prospective tenants can easily find and connect with available properties. Aydin combines analytical thinking with creative problem-solving, always looking for new ways to leverage technology to expand the portfolio and improve the tenant experience.

Property Manager
Laura is MZAN Capital's day-to-day point of contact for tenants and vendors. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she brings warmth, responsiveness, and strong organizational skills to every interaction. Coming from an immigrant family herself, Laura understands the importance of having a safe and well-cared-for home. She handles lease coordination, move-ins, inspections, and tenant communications, always making sure things run smoothly and that every tenant feels heard.
Jose Canal
Maintenance Staff
Jose keeps MZAN Capital's properties in top condition. With hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical, general repairs, and groundskeeping, he is the first responder when something needs fixing. Jose takes pride in fast turnaround times and quality workmanship, understanding that a well-maintained home makes all the difference for tenants. Whether it's a weekend emergency or a routine inspection, Jose is reliable, thorough, and always ready to help.
